Support the Awards

We live in immensely difficult times and hope our supporters are utilizing their discretionary income to prioritize giving to causes which aid in our collective survival and the dismantling of oppressive systems before or instead of giving to the Ignytes. Donations are still welcome, as each award cycle's expenses run $3500-$4000 between artist honorarium ($400), trophy production for finalists and winners ($1500), certificate printing ($300), and shipping materials and postage ($1600). As of October 2026, FIYAH Literary Magazine is going on indefinite hiatus after issue 40, which means are are now entirely independent of our once-shared infrastructure. This separation has incurred additional administrative costs such as domain registration, email, and site hosting to the tune of about $400/year.

SUPPORT THE PRESSES

The independent presses that publish a number of our finalists in the shorter-than-novel-length fiction categories in particular often run on passion and a shoestring budget. We keep a list of the ones who use crowdfunding models to sustain themselves here and hope you'll add them to your giving schedules.

BUY FINALIST TITLES

Shortlist titles available from booksellers on Bookshop.org can be found on the Ignytes bookshelf there. Our finalist announcements also include links to where to find all of the honored works/entities online (deprioritizing Amazon wherever possible).
