Youth Judges Program

Launching January 2027

We're working with our friends in kidlit librarianship to source young jurors for the Young Adult and Middle Grade categories! We've always believed that the intended audiences for youth literature should have a say in what makes that work supposedly great. Youth judges who read eligible work will be able to supply nominated during the longlist period, and their votes are weighted in the generation of the shortlist.
