We've Moved!

Welcome to the new home of the Ignyte Awards! With the future of FIYAH Literary Magazine uncertain, we've uncoupled from their infrastructure so that the awards can continue without the folks over there bearing the cost and labor of supporting it through their transition.

Some new features and improvements from the old site include:

• Finalist and Winner Resources! Ever been shortlisted for an Ignyte? Now there's a suite of graphics available for you to download and use in your celebratory announcements. You'll hear from us in a week or two with an invitation link to access the private area of the website where you'll find everything.
• A dedicated Support Page for the independent presses that bring us our finalists every year
• Finalists Bookshelf on Bookshop.org
• Youth Judges Program - launching Jan 2027 We're working with our friends in kidlit librarianship to source young jurors for the Young Adult and Middle Grade categories! We've always believed that the intended audiences for youth literature should have a say in what makes that work supposedly great. Youth judges who read eligible work will be able to supply nominated during the longlist period, and their votes are weighted in the generation of the shortlist.

If you'd like to support us and our newly acquired independent administrative costs, leave us a tip or consider sponsorship of an award cycle.

Your friendly neighborhood award admins,

L and Suzan
